Couture, reimagined.
The perfect contemporary wedding gown starts with a consultation at Maristani London.
Every Maristani wedding dress appointment starts with a conversation, the sort that gets to know exactly what one-of-a-kind dress a bride might have in mind. What follows is a luxurious, highly personalised experience during which brides-to-be breathe life into the dresses of their dreams. Founded by British sisters Laila and Olivia Maristani, the house has become quietly renowned for bridal couture that is entirely bespoke, not simply made to measure. Exclusivity and attention to detail are part and parcel of the Maristani London aesthetic, with clients turning to the label when they want to design something entirely unique of their own. Gowns are crafted in-house and made in England by a skilled Kent-based atelier fluent in couture technique and contemporary expression.
From the very first sketches to the personal touches that come in the form of custom details, each piece is artfully sculpted into an objet d’art in its own right. Meticulous embroidery, delicate embellishments, traceable Italian silks and jacquards from centuries-old British mills are just some of the techniques and options to create something far more than your average tailored gown.
Whether it’s a sculptural, draped number, a voluminous fairytale-like gown or whimsical tulle design, all are poised to express the wearer’s individuality with assured elegance and femininity. The process itself is all part of the fun. Brides are guided through silhouette, fabrication and finish, watching their design evolve from sketch to toile to final fitting. Every item is made individually, ensuring minimal waste and an uncompromising focus on quality, with couture techniques applied at every stage. The result is a piece tailored to fit perfectly, not only in size but in spirit too; a future heirloom designed to be treasured long after the last dance.
While bridal remains its cornerstone, Maristani London is also launching its first
online evening couture collection this summer, extending the house’s signature approach beyond the aisle. Brides will soon also be able to experience the brand more closely with the opening of a beautiful new London showroom later this year, offering a dedicated space in the capital for consultations and fittings.
